I have been following this training plan and just realised that the tough lap that I ran last Saturday was scheduled for tomorrow… hmm..    hope that wont change anything.

Ran my 3 miles tonite … fartlek style.

What is Fartlek?
Fartlek comes from the Swedish word which means ‘speed play’. It refers to a kind of workout in which the runner accelerates sporadically then slows down again with no particular structure. It is a kind of freestyle interval training which includes spontaneous bursts of speed depending on how the runner feels.

Too late …

No running shoes for me today as I was too late - didnt get to the renowned store Løplabbet in time.

Hey - but I couldnt let that stop me so went on the treadmill with my old basket shoes running a 7.5 k.  I ll spend a LOT of time in my local  Friskis &Svettis gym in the next three months….
